Shoulders well defined, usually horizontal but can slope downward forming wide barbs

Base straight with slightly convex basal edge

Edges of stem often ground smooth

Size: 2 to 5 inches long, although longer (up to 8 inches) specimens are known

Late Adena: 300BC-AD1
