Relatively long and narrow, although the blades of shorter specimens may have been resharpened

Shoulders slight or weak

Stem usually rounded, less frequently squared at the base

Edges of the stem often ground to varying degrees

Specimens may be thick in cross section

Size: Generally 2-1/2 to 4 inches long

Early Adena (Early Woodland):ca 800-300 BC
