Blade highly symmetrical; biconvex in cross section

Shallow side notches placed very close to basal edge

Basal edge generally straight; concave and convex basal edges do occur

Grinding along basal edge and inside the notch on most examples

Size: 1¼ to 2 inches long

Late Archaic 3700-2000 BC
