Broad, thick, side-notched point

Notches close to the base, often resulting in sharp basal "ears"

Base is straight, slightly convex, or-less frequently-slightly concave

Edge of base usually ground smooth

Size: 1¼ to 2¼ inches in length

Late Archaic ca. 2900-1700 BC
