Robbins Blades

Often called leaf-shaped blades or cache blades

Relatively wide, thin blades

Rounded base

Greatest width at or very near the base

Often well made from high quality flint from Flint Ridge in Licking and Muskingum counties

Sometimes found in caches, or deposits, that can include up to 200 or more specimens

Size: 2½ to 4 inches long, although specimens up to 9 inches long are known

Late Adena: ca. 300 BC - AD 1
