Relatively long and narrow proportions

Greatest width near middle of blade

Rounded base

Workmanship variable; some well-made, biconvex in cross section while others are more irregular in outline and thick in cross section

Size: 3 to 5 inches long

Early Adena: ca. 800 -300 BC
