Kirk Corner-Notched Points

Relatively large points with triangular blades and flattened cross-section

Blade edges generally straight and deeply serrated on most examples

Shoulders well defined; many are straight, most have barbs projecting toward the base

Base straight or concave; basal edge frequently slightly ground or smooth

Size: 2 to 3 inches long

Resharpened specimens can be classed as Palmer or Pine Tree Corner-Notched points

Early Archaic: ca. 7500-6900 BC
