Also called St. Albans Side-Notched

Blade edges straight or excurvate, usually serrated

Tip sometimes off-center

Shoulders well defined although this characteristic may be absent on resharpened specimens

Base deeply notched; also slight side notching

Edges of base usually ground smooth

Size: 1 to 2 inches long

Early Archaic: ca. 6900-6500 BC
