I am a total Yelp Addict and have added all of the area libraries I have visited, as well as those I visit in my travels. I posted a picture of a library with a Yelp sticker back in January: http://www.web2learning.net/archives/1480

I haven't done it myself, but I recommend checking with your director about how s/he wants to handle it. I'd definitely use a generic web address (e.g. "webmaster@...) so that any messages in the future don't bounce, even if you aren't in that position any more.

What do you know about the option to claim a site as your business? I wonder if it's appropriate for me (as the webmaster) to say I'm the "owner" since I'm the one who will maintain the profile?
